But then Rae shows up in his life, and everything changes. Darkness cleaves to light. Anger yields to joy. The question is whether she'll be his salvation or his destruction.

Book Review:

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars! We have characters who you will instantly fall in love with, and who should be falling in love with one another but their too damn stubborn. Let's not forget about our antagonists that just happen to be taking much interest in the new girl.

Favorite Quote:
"Superstars live in the limelight, and I have to stay in the shadows."

Malcolm: One of our main characters of the story. Think of him as an unwilling messenger from the dark side. He doesn't want to get to close to anyone because they get to close. Yet, he soon finds himself needing to get close to Rae.

Rae: Another important main character. You can think of her as a cherub of happiness. She also doesn't like to get to close to people, because once they do they find it impossible for them to stay away.

Jasmine: She is what you would call a neutral, and becomes an important friend to both Malcolm and Rae.

Kootch: This guy is all over the place, but in truth he is an amazing friend to both main characters. He has a background that thrives off misery but upon meeting Rae things change for him.

Things I didn't like about the book:
One thing that I found that displeased me about the book was that sometimes I would get confused about what I was reading. The wording sometimes would throw me off, and I would have to go back several times to re-read the lines trying to make sense of what I read.

All In All:
All in all this book was very pleasing. It was easy for me to fall in love with the characters and their stories, feel their emotions as they experienced it, and root for them as they faced challenges. Though the sentence structures sometimes threw me off, i was able to get back on track and continue through. So if you are interested, please don't be afraid to go and purchase. Elle Casey would really appreciate it and I am sure you will fall in love with her writing.

Power In Music --> Five Finger Death Punch Coming Down

Sorry I disappeared for a while guys! I have been so busy and stressed that I haven't been able to think of anything good for me to post. So I wanted to talk about this song that one of my friends had me listen to. It wasn't just the song that really got to me, but it was the video that ties it together. I literally had to try so hard not to cry, I have never tried to do that as hard as I did when I finished this video. I have put the video down below for you to take a look at. This song really knows how to hit home though. We see two teenagers (assume they are teens), whom are struggling with the world. With bullies, with life, with everything in their world seeming to fall down and they just can't take it anymore. In the end, we can see that sometimes it just takes one person to change the course of life. Pass this song and video on, it will cause pain in people at first but once the message gets out we could be able to save a life.
